Composite superhard material industry is a sub industry of superhard material industry. In addition to composite (polycrystalline) superhard material industry, there is also single crystal superhard material industry (single crystal diamond / cubic boron nitride material). The development prospect of composite superhard material industry is optimistic. Composite superhard material is a new type of material for industrial production and processing, which has unique functions and great hardness. It is difficult to be replaced by other materials. Moreover, the production technology and process of composite superhard material are mature. Under the influence of government investment, the petroleum industry, construction industry, metal cutting machine tool and automobile industry have a long-term and substantial growth. The rapid and stable growth of the end-user market of composite superhard materials will bring greater development opportunities and broad market space for the composite superhard materials industry. In addition, the composite superhard material has the advantages of higher hardness, better wear resistance, higher thermal conductivity and better processing performance compared with the traditional materials such as cemented carbide, which makes it perform well in service life, processing quality and processing efficiency, greatly surpassing the traditional cemented carbide material, so it has obvious substitution advantages for the traditional superhard alloy material.
 
At present, the middle and high-end products in the global composite superhard material manufacturing industry are mainly monopolized by enterprises in the United States, Japan and other countries. Most of the middle and high-end market shares are controlled by international leading large group companies such as Di company, element6 company, American synthetic, Sumitomo Japan and nisin Korea. However, China's superhard material industry is large but not strong, especially in the field of composite superhard materials. For a long time, famous foreign enterprises have occupied the high-end market. China's enterprises have a significant gap in production and quality with famous foreign enterprises. Most of the products need to be imported, so there is a huge demand for import substitution in the field of domestic superhard materials. It is suggested that investors should pay attention to the leading enterprises in domestic composite superhard materials.
